Chasing Dreams is an animation loop showing a young girl's attempt to get away from the monsters chasing her.
She's afraid of them and she manages to get away, but we never actually find out whether they were harmful or not.

For me, it's an analogy for constantly running away from opportunities, feeling doubtful to a point where I'm afraid of actually fulfilling my dreams. But it's open to interpretation and I love how each time I think about it, it means something a little different. A chase can mean a lot of things. Inspired by the absolutely mind-blowing and wonderful movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023), the chase scene got me thinking about elements of the story that I did not notice before.
In this project my main goal was to get familiar with the steps that come before animating. This workflow consisted of creating concept art, character design, storyboard, a 3d model and such.
